New mac lab in hcuc as part of student development initiative

Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) is off to a great start by adding 40 iMac as part of the initiate in student development.
HCUC Lecturer from School of Applied Creative Arts and Design, Reo Lim expressed that the iMac lab is by far the most useful lab to students due to its efficiency.

“Students are able to understand both, Windows and MacOS which will be useful when they venture into the industry as some organisations use both softwares” he added.
The campus now also features latest facilities and amenities comprising of toilets, gym room, dance studio and a library to be upgraded.

Albeit a small campus, the elevation is not confined to landscape improvements but also covers software upgrades including the establishment of a mobile application.
HCUC Corporate Communication Manager, Kelly Wong mentioned that the aim of advancing students’ welfare and development is to initiate better campus environment and expand learning horizons for students.

“We are on a hunt in recruiting academic staff with remarkable portfolio as part of our efforts in student development and equipping them for industrial requirements” she added.
Students are also in treat of an array of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the future as the management establishes bonds with corporate organisations and other education institutions.
HCUC has also received a boost recently from the Ministry of Finance in a RM 2 million funding.
